Dear New Life Church,
We are entering into uncharted territories as a church. These are unusual but exciting times we are living in. After the most recent guidelines put forth from President Trump, our governor, and local health officials stating that groups of 10 or more should not meet, we have committed to honor and obey authority, and we know that God will bless us for this.
New Life family, this is what we are doing! We are discontinuing our in-person service tomorrow night and Sunday morning across all three campuses. This will be re-evaluated on a week-to-week basis, and as soon as it is deemed safe to do so our regular service times will resume. We are providing online worship services this Wednesday night at 7pm and this Sunday at 10am. You can watch our LIVE stream from our New Life Church Facebook, the New Life Everyday YouTube channel, and on the church’s app and website.
Let’s take this opportunity to strengthen our relationships and experience God’s presence in our lives and homes. I challenge you not to let this become a moment for you to disconnect from the church, but a time for you to draw close and lean in to what God is saying. I love what Andy Stanley recently said: “The church isn’t closed, just our buildings are.” We are here for such a time as this. We will come through this and be stronger and better on the other side!
Picture yourself out in the field gathering in the harvest. When we re-open bring the harvest of souls with you. This is our greatest time to shine in darkness. “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1).
We love you!
